Going thought the Good & the Bad!!!!

The cause and effects of the great depression and how the new deal change the role of the government was unacceptable and acceptable.

I say is was unacceptable and acceptable because the events were good & bad. This was a time were people felt sadness and joy. And it’s an example of why people needed to communicated or learn because if people before the great depression we wouldn’t have had it in the first place but, since we learn from that we got the new deal which helped a lot of people in the end. A theme to consider when thinking about this topic is politics.Image result for great depression

Politics was effected in a positive & negative way because people were poor and their was no law that said the government had to help the people or no law in process that would have saved america from the great depression until the new deal came around to do just that and it really worked. For instance, in sources # 1,3,& 4 states ” president  Roosevelt took office, he immediately lunched a series of programs to ease the effects of the great depression”. In source #3 states ” Roosevelt … First action of the new deal was to give the banks of the U.S a four-day vacation”. I source #4 states ” The National labor relations act gave credibility to union by better organizing them. This was critical to the development of worker’s rights in our country going forward”.  In addition, in source #2 states ” the Failure of many banks during the 1920’s”. This allows us to see the cause and effects of the great depression and how the new deal changed the role of the government.Image result for new deal Also let us see that more good then bad came out of the great depression and the new deal age. however some may disagree because some may feel that   politics had a negative effect. The issue with this thinking is that the government had help a lot of people like I stated before even thought they could had stand back and let people fix like president hoover wanted.

In conclusion, I see a change in history For example Donald trump had close or shut down the government which had undo all of Roosevelt work. This help us to understand the present better. perhaps people should take a good look at Roosevelt book.

Can’t Keep us Down!!!!

The attempt to assist African Americans in the south during reconstruction were Appropriate. I say appropriate because it is correct. This was a time where people felt joy. And it was an example of why people back then set up rules. A theme to consider when thinking about this topic is politics. Politics was affected in a positive way because a lot of U.S government laws were passed to help a lot of African Americans during this time. For instance, the U.S pass the 15th Amendment which allowed African Americans to vote. In addition, the U.S also pass the 13th Amendment which freed the slaves.Image result for Fight for your rights And Finally, U.S  passed 14th Amendment which stops racial segregation. This allows us to see how through the governments and through peaceful protest by African Americans to strive for their civil rights. However, some may feel that this was a time where African Americans were brought down by the KKK and the government. The issue with this thinking is that they were actually pulled up during this time through fighting a peaceful protest by standing up for which is right which helped get those laws to pass because they were brave. In conclusion, I see a continuity in history. For example, Nowadays, there is still some discrimination against minorities that affect a lot of people daily lives but people are still getting up and fighting for change with peaceful protest to show that we may have won the battle but not the war. This helps us to understand the past better. Perhaps, people should stop trying to fight with people over race and who is the better race but work with one another and just live in peace because we do not agree with everyone but I know that we all could agree with that.

The Good & Bad’s of The Great Depression!!!

The cause and effect of the great depression and how the new deal changes the role of the government was unacceptable and considerable. The term unacceptable and considerable are appropriate because the banks went broke and made the people become broke and poverty went through the roof that few years. It’s important to understand this was a time the people felt weak., The government tried to help the people who felt weak, which was spoiling them. After analyzing the document, I see a negative and positive impact on historical themes of culture and politics.

Firstly, the approaches to Hoover and FDR on how to handle the depression affected culture in positive and negative ways based on good changes and bad relationship. For instance, in source #1 ‘ when President Roosevelt took office, he immediately launched a series of programs to ease the effects of the Great Depression. In addition, it states ‘The inaction of the Hoover government made things worse when the depression began. This allows us to see, poor people get the help they needed from the FDR when  Roosevelt became president & President Hoover’s ways of doing business had pushed people away from the government. This made the American people back then very confused or conflicted.

However, some may feel the cause for the great depression and how the governments change affected politics & culture only in a negative way to gain power.  Another example in the text that proves my point is in source #4. It states ” The unemployed and elderly.

In conclusion, the evidence strongly supports the change in history. Based on the facts, that between a Hoover and FDR their was positive and negative way they did things. For example, how Hoover wanted people to find their own way out of poverty and fight for themselves. However, FDR believed that people needed help that only the government could get the people like health care and food stamps.  This helps us to understand about the present better. Because now people don’t have to worry about the great depression happening again ever unless these programs were to be removed. Perhaps people should have created a better system before the great depression so that then people wouldn’t have to go thought those problems.

The Western Expansion Goods& Bad’s!!!

The transformation of American as a result of western expansion was unacceptable and considerable. The term considerable and unacceptable is appropriate because. African Americans received help from the west and the native   Americans were kicked from their own land. It’s important to understand this was a time burning the westward were people were spoiled. After analysis of the document, I see negative & positive impacts on historical themes on culture& relationships.

Firstly, the westward movement an expansion after the civil war affected culture in a positive way base on new freedom and friendships. For instance, in source one (1) “The withdrawal of federal troops in the south, accompanied by a rise in Ku Klux Klan violence and the enactment of the Jim crow laws, solidified the status of African Americans as second class citizens.

Also, it states ” African Americans and white philanthropist… help… Exodusters make the journey to Kansas the most successful Exodusters settled in the growing towns of Kansas. This allows us to see how even thou African Americans were discriminated by the Ku Klux Klan they were still able to receive help from white philanthropists.

However, some may feel the transformation of American as a result of western expansion affected politics & culture of the time in a mostly negative way. For instance, many native Americans were robbed and stole from and left for dead. in source four (4) states “ Us military forces attempted to disarm a group of Sioux Indians camped there, but soon open fire on them. More than 200 Sioux man, woman, and children were killed. This allows us to see how that USA stole and lied to the native which ended in there death.

In conclusion, the evidence strongly supports a change in history. Based on the facts, The transformation of American as a result of western expansion was unacceptable and considerable. For example, this shows how during this time it was a good and bad year for a lot of people. This helps us to understand the past better. Because this shows how the USA was created from and how even thou people can come together to help someone out. Perhaps people should try to learn more about history because it will help you understand the future you live in.

The fight against ISIS

The idea that the success of ISIS was caused by the Ineffective policies of Barack Obama is False. I say false because Obama is very good persistent and did everything he could to fight the war on ISIS. The big idea is fear. The themes to consider when thinking about this topic are power and culture. For example, the USA is fighting hard and ISIS is really taking really hard damage but we still have a long road ahead to go. For instance on line 1 states ” In terms of territory, ISIS is actually getting weaker”.However, lines 11-12 states” This enemy is hard to pinpoint and kill, and all of our sophisticated weaponry is useless against someone who has been radicalized. This allows us to see how ISIS is losing but the USA and other allied countries are still struggling to fight them off to stop them once and for all.  In conclusion, we see a major focus on power and culture. I selected this theme because of the power from the USA and other allied countries are able to fight off ISIS and will affect our and their culture. This was important because it helps us to understand present better because as a country we need to know stuff like this so we can help and do our part as the people. Perhaps people should work hard and come up with new ways to fight them off and help create a better world for us as a whole.

Help the poor!!!

The government leaders were compassionate/kind in the 60’s is precis.I said it was precis because during this time the government want and did help the poor united states citizens by creating programs like food stamps, so they can try to get ahead. The big idea is that the president Johnson legislation’s use money  wisely. The theme to consider when thinking about this topic are economies and change. For example the united states help a big portion of the their poor people and they didn’t even give a little they gave over $1 billion dollars in schools and made sure they could get food and have medical care which really help the poor people even some today. Image result for Help the poor!!!For instance on lines 8-9 state ” The great society establish medicare and medicaid which provide health care to the poor and to the elderly. However, these programs took a lot of money from working class people and the wealthy. For instance, line 10 states”….$ 1 billion in Federal funding…. .This allows us to see how president Johnson legislation’s provide programs for the poor to help them out during the great society of 1960’s.In conclusion, we see a major focus on economies and  change. I picked this particular theme because the government had to take money form the united states to give to these programs that change a lot of peoples lives in the 1960’s.This was important because it helps us to understand the about  the present better because we still have them now in 2018 and they still help over a million people every day. Perhaps people  should look at a page in president Johnson’s book.

Big Business Take Over

The ideas of the Gilded age was a time of corruption and evil is appropriate. I say appropriate because the big business controlled the government and small businesses. The big idea of stuff is big businesses controlled. The theme to consider are politics and power. For example Andrew Carnegie and John d. Rockefeller both were big businesses that destroyed and then take over so many small companies that they appellation “robber barons” like it states in the text paragraph 2 lines 10-11 ” Businessman like Andrew Carnegie and john D. Rockefeller acted in ways that warrant the appellation robber barons”. In addition the text talks about how their were no laws against what they were doing so, Big companies continued to do what ever they wanted. For instance on paragraph 2 lines 11-12 states ” This was a time when there was little government regulation of industry and there was intense competition to get a head”. Further more in the text continued to talk about how they would take over these companies by any means necessary. For instance in paragraph 2 lines 13-14 states ” They competed ruthlessly and were quite willing to drive other companies out of business, often  running  the finance of the people who ran those other companies”. This allows us to see how  Big business took over companies and the government though the gilded age of 1870s-1900s.In conclusion, we see a major focus on the theme politics and power. Because with on laws to stop big business it gave them power. This was important because  it taught me how the gilded age was corrupt and evil. Perhaps people back in the gilded age in the year 1870s-1900s should have not let the big business take so much control over everything back then.

Fight for what you deserved!!!!

The idea the civil rights movement made minorities stronger was appropriate. I say appropriate because it brought people together and made people to fight for what they deserved. The big idea  is a rock and a hard place. The theme to consider when thinking about this topic are politics and culture. for example the civil rights movement caused people to come together in which they wouldn’t do for other reason and fight for their rights and freedom from segregation. for instance on lines 1-2 states” ….. the idea that minority groups deserve protection from the federal government and from fellow citizens. this allows us to see that by standing up for something bigger then your self then you could help or inspired someone 100 years from now like in the text states on lines 5-6 ” …… and the native American rights movement followed the grassroots  organization and strategies from the civil rights movement. In conclusion, we see the major focus on the theme. I chose the theme politics and culture because the people of minorities were fight for rights and that involves politics and I chose culture because the text include people of race. This is important because it helps us to understand how minorities went thought back in the 1950-1960’s better. perhaps  people should look past the color of our skin and on the continent of their character just like Martian Luther king state in his speech I have a dream.

Freedom!!!!

The containment policy was in action from 1945-1990 was appropriate. I say appropriate because it allowed the people of capitalism have a choice and have more freedom to do things. The big idea is Faint Of Heart. The theme to consider when thinking about this topic are politics and change. For example the us wanted people to be able to make a good living even if they didn’t work as hard as other people or just couldn’t work at all. For instance, on line four states “The financial support given to western European countries”. This allows us to see how the cold war caused a positive impact on politics and helped change. In conclusion, we can see that  the containment policy help change a lot of people live  during  the 1945-1990 cold war. I choose this theme because it help me understand the text better and see how the containment policy affected people back then. my option on this subject is that the containment help lot of people around the world but make the S.U dislike us even more.

Fight for your rights!!!

The idea of Booker T. Washington’ s up lifting policies were flawed is Appropriate. The theme to consider when thinking about this topic are culture and politics. For example Booker T. Washington had a negative impact on culture. For instance he thought that  African Americans should gradually and thoughtfully accommodate to souther  away from white people . However WEB thought we should fight for your rights as people.  You can find this on numbers 5&6 on the worksheet. This allowed us to see how African American were treated back in the 1890 to 1920’s.This is important because it helps us learn and understand the past better.Perhaps people back then should be more open mind about the people and their race and maybe we can be more happier.
